Ras Abu Galum is a protected Bedouin nature reserve north of the Blue Hole, reached by a memorable camel ride along the coast. The reward is unspoiled reef with almost no other divers: healthy coral, dramatic walls and a real sense of wilderness. A full-day adventure combining two guided dives with one of Sinai's most beautiful settings.
A full-day trip: camel ride, then two relaxed guided dives over walls and coral gardens. Calm, clear water and excellent visibility. Bring sun protection and water for the surface interval.
Pristine hard and soft coral, anthias, snappers, morays and frequent turtles.
Requires an Advanced Open Water certification. The diving itself is easy; the adventure — a camel ride to a remote protectorate — makes it a special full-day outing.
