Gabr El Bint is a remote site south of Dahab, reached by boat or a scenic camel trek. Far from the crowds, it offers some of the area's most pristine diving: steep walls draped in gorgonian fans, coral pinnacles and a genuine off-the-beaten-path feel. A full-day trip with two guided dives and lunch.
A full-day outing with two dives on healthy walls and slopes. Generally calm and very clear; the remoteness means you'll often have the reef to yourselves.
Gorgonian sea fans, anthias, snappers, groupers and pelagic visitors along the wall.
Requires an Advanced Open Water certification with good buoyancy. The walls reward calm, controlled diving.
