Open Water Diver Course in Dahab

Become a certified PADI Open Water Diver in Dahab - the licence that lets you dive anywhere in the world, to 18 metres, with a buddy and no instructor.

Book the Open Water course - €400

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world's most popular scuba certification, and Dahab is one of the best and most affordable places to take it. Over 3-4 days you learn the theory and skills of scuba diving, then put them into practice on real dives in the calm, warm, clear water of the Red Sea - often straight from the shore, so there is no seasickness and no long boat rides.

What you learn

You cover dive theory (either online before you arrive or in Dahab), five confined-water sessions to master core skills in shallow water, and four open-water training dives at classic Dahab sites such as Lighthouse and the Islands. Your certified PADI instructor teaches in a small group, in English or German, with all equipment included.

Requirements

You must be at least 10 years old, comfortable in water and in reasonable health. No previous diving experience is needed. If you are not sure diving is for you, try a single Discover Scuba Diving dive first - it can often be credited toward your Open Water course.
