ScubaDahab is an independent booking platform that helps divers find and reserve scuba courses, freediving courses and guided dives with independent, certified dive centres in Dahab, Egypt. The diving service itself is provided by the dive centre, not by ScubaDahab; your activity contract is with that centre. ScubaDahab arranges the reservation and passes your details to the centre.
Reserving online is free and there is no payment at the time of booking. You pay the full price directly to the dive centre on the day of your activity, in cash or by card as the centre allows. The price shown at reservation is the price agreed, excluding any local fees stated separately (e.g. national-park entrance fees).
You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your dive. Please note that for leisure activities tied to a specific date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal generally does not apply (§ 312g (2) no. 9 BGB / Art. 16(l) Consumer Rights Directive). Our 48-hour free-cancellation policy applies as a contractual term regardless.
Diving carries inherent risks. You confirm you will complete the standard diver medical questionnaire honestly and hold any certification required for the activity you book. You must follow the dive centre's safety briefings and the instructions of its professionals at all times. Anyone who does not meet the health or certification requirements may be refused participation by the centre.
As an intermediary, ScubaDahab is liable for the correct arrangement of your reservation but not for the performance of the diving activity itself, which is the responsibility of the independent dive centre. Statutory liability for injury to life, body or health and for intent or gross negligence remains unaffected. This section does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
These terms are governed by the law of [ your country, e.g. Germany ]. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
