What you learn

AIDA 1★ covers the fundamentals: relaxation and breathing techniques, safe static apnea (breath-holding at the surface), and your first duck dives in confined, shallow water. It's a short theory session followed by practical time in the water with your instructor.

Requirements

No experience or scuba background needed. Reasonable swimming ability and general fitness are enough, and the course suits complete beginners aged 16 and up.
